This particular video was a lot of fun to create.  I started with the dotted map that was supplied by the church as an Illustrator file.  I created moving lights in Motion 3 that were matted into the map.  Behind the map I used different motion elements and particles to create the moving background and lights behind the map. 

The other images were Royalty free pictures that were found on www.sxc.hu.  I used Photoshop CS3’s vanishing point tool to create the illusion of a 3D space.  Those files were imported into After Effects where I added a camera and flew around the created “3D” environment. 

Once I was happy with the movement, I exported the files and used Magic Bullet to re-color the entire video. 

The music is a “dummy track” as the church will be using the loop with live music at their conference.  It highlights areas where they support Missionaries and then challenges the audience with “It’s Your Turn.”
